A vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
Jesus says, “apart from me you can do nothing.” Any efforts we make in motherhood apart from the purpose of serving Christ are empty. We exist to bring Him glory and in turn He gives us hope through the cross and joy even in hardship. Whether you’re changing the 10th dirty diaper of the day or cleaning up Cheerios off of the floor yet again, there is purpose in this work because it’s for Christ!
Meaningful Relationships with our Husbands/Kids
In a culture that values individual success, motherhood can be looked down upon as mere menial labor. Why give up your career for your kids? When we recognize, however, that our kids are the next generation and that they are infinitely important to God, our perspective shifts as we realize just how weight and important our jobs are.
Home Management Systems
One of the craziest things about becoming a mom is that our entire routines are entwined with our kids. If they’re awake, we’re awake. We get to eat if they’re fed. By figuring systems like meal-planning, infant sleep, toddler quiet times, independent play, and systems for chores, we have more time to take care of ourselves and have quality time with our kids. Talk about a win-win!
Nutrition and Fitness Made Simple
Nutrition and movement are SO much easier to pull off as a mom once you have the meal-planning and time management systems in place. Eating well and moving can make a tremendous difference in our energy levels, allowing us to more fully enjoy and serve our families.
